Craft & Meet-a-new-friend Day ft. RippleEffect
Hello, World! Come spend an afternoon indulging in some tote bag decoration and paper crafts with Ripple Effect Dragonboat team!
Who are we?
Ripple Effect is a proud San Francisco dragon boat team that strives for athletic achievement and building community. We’re driven by a passion for paddling, fitness, and giving back, regularly competing (and winning) in local, national, and international races.
Why Crafting?
This is one of our outreach events. We want to say hello to our community as well as inform you all about the dragonboating culture. Plus, we are a non-profit and love to give back! Our team organizes volunteer events that bring our paddlers, families, and alumni together to support the wider community.
What are we doing?
We'll be decorating canvas tote bags and doing some papercrafts (origami and coloring pages to be specific!) that are dragon boat related. We will provide blank tote bags. If you have a tote bag, feel free to bring your own! Tickets are $10 each; all proceeding goes toward the event costs as well as a generous donation to our team.
