CALLING ALL SOMATIC ARTISTS, PERFORMERS, DANCERS, WRITERS, FEELERS & HEALERS. Temple of Wild Lovers ritual theater collective has been gathering online for 6 years and is now coming to Ojai monthly. In this first session, we will dive into what Ritual Theater is by doing preparatory practices, including Body Temple Dance, sacred sexuality, and oracular writing. No previous theater experience is necessary—we will co-create from what arises in the shared somatic field. Ritual theater is not performance for an audience. It is prayer in motion—a somatic fieldwork, relational practice where the body becomes the stage for truth. Through movement, voice, archetype, astrology, Goddess worship, and witnessing, we bring hidden emotional material into expression so it can be transformed, not carried. It’s alchemy. This space asks for the risk of intimacy—to tell the truth in the body, to feel without numbing, to be witnessed without pretending. Venus opens the field of love, desire, and connection; ritual theater gives it lineage to lean on. We will gather monthly over six months to build trust, language, and capacity together—working with grief, rage, eros, and devotion as creative forces. From there, we may shape what emerges into a public prayer-formance—a ritual offering, a piece of art, a protest, or something we can’t yet name. Come as you are. Bring your body, water, your voice, your edges. Where intimacy becomes practice—and practice becomes power. 🌹
