Join us for the LA Tech Week Hike & Network at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook! A chance to get outside, meet likeminded folks interested in tech x climate, and connect with LA’s sustainability community. Women in Cleantech and Sustainability (WCS) welcomes everyone, whether you’re an experienced sustainability professional, new to the field, or simply want to end your Tech Week exploring LA’s beautiful trails. A Few Important Notes: Carpooling is encouraged! We’ve partnered with Crewz to help you find and coordinate rides with other attendees. Visit our WCS Crewz page: https://crewz.co/events/wcs Bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated. Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Parking & Meeting Point Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, 6300 Hetzler Road Culver City, CA 9023 This will be our designated meeting and parking location. Please meet us at the parking lot at the top of the Culver Steps. You will drive up a windy, paved road that may have some hikers - keep driving to the parking lot! Please arrive on time for check-in so the entire group can begin the hike promptly at 9:15am. Our Route We’ll start and finish together at the Parking Lot pay station with WCS volunteers leading the group. From the parking area, we’ll follow the trailhead through Baldwin Hills towards Stoneview Nature Center. The hike is approximately 2 miles round trip. We’ll keep a comfortable pace and make time for photos, conversation, and networking along the way.
