Bison or Bust! The Second Stampede (C Group)
🔔 Hear Ye Hear Ye 🔔 By way of bipartisan act of Congress and signed by President Obama, National Bison Day (🦬) will be henceforth observed the first Saturday of every November! To celebrate this momentous occasion join a glorious mixed road & light gravel ride to a bison herd at Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory.
All levels of cyclists are welcome just study the routes, distances, paces, and terrain carefully to choose the one you’re well prepared for: 45 miles from Chicago to Fermilab bison and back by train that same afternoon.
Anyone can join for the after party (even by car! 🫢) at White Pines Lodge restaurant where the “A” and “B” groups finish their rides.
