Well, you're invited to truly one of the best films I've seen in years, and it's opening up here in Miami where it was filmed, this weekend! FORGE is an incredible crime thriller from writer-director Jing Ai Ng (who grew up from Malaysia to Miami), set in the high-stakes world of Miami's art scene and following the Zhang siblings, two of the city's best art forgers who get pulled in a bit over their heads. Agent Emily Lee is played by Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars, Raya and the Last Dragon). FORGE was filmed here in Miami, and it premiered at SXSW to rave reviews. We have bought out the entire theatre, so this screening is free, thanks to team FORGE 🤍 Rundown of the night this Sunday, May 31: 5:30 PM. Arrive at Coral Gables Art Cinema. 5:45 PM. Film begins. 7:45PM. Immediately after the film, we'll move directly across the street at Books & Books (265 Aragon Ave) — for a live 20 minutes Q&A with writer-director Jing Ai Ng, moderated by Jason Ve, President of PAPER. Then the fun part - we'll then have our afters celebration with an open bar generously sponsored by Jing and family - with food available for purchase.
