House (music) Party at the Friesens
I've been wanting to do this for a while...
You're invited to a house music night of dancing at the Friesen house.
One of the things I'm most passionate about is a good dance music experience. Some of my favorite moments have been care free on a dance floor when a DJ drops a track I've never heard.
There's just something about music that connects us all. The moments on a dance floor when you lock eyes and grin at a complete stranger because you know the music is making them feel the same way.
I've come to a realization that the music I love so much doesn't have to be confined to a dim warehouse, but can be enjoyed anywhere.
We are going to curate a fun space for people to come and dance to better music than you'd find at a club, and without the pressure that comes along with "going out."
We'll have separated spaces for dancing + relaxing (although, not fully sheltered from the tunes). Whether you feel like dancing or just hanging on the patio with some cool people, we'd love to see you.
The $$ all goes to drinks, snacks, and the overall experience.
My friend David will mix some latin house early in the evening, I'll jump in to spin some soulful house, and if people are still dancing, we'll see where the tracks take us...
We'll have cocktails and drinks (NA + regular) and some light snacks.
This will be more about the experience and not about food for a change, but we're so excited for this one.
The evening is meant to build with the intensity of music, so if you can, come on time for the full experience.
So dust off your best black skinny jeans, and let's dance.
