Open House 07 – Sunset Soundbath in a Garden

Join us for a special sunset edition of 'Open House' in a serene, Pasadena garden. We're joined by guest composer and sound practitioner Braden Pontoli, who’s not only sharing their beautiful space, but carrying us off into the night with singing bowls and soundscapes. And per usual, Ty Rex will be co-hosting from the piano with new improvisations. We’ll also be serving tea 🫖 and displaying some art prints for sale. *About* Open House is an LA-based concert series guided by improvisation as a meditative practice. Guests are invited to sit sound-bath-style amidst a live convergence of diverse lineages from jazz, classical, ambient music and other artistic disciplines. *What to bring* - Comfy cushions/mats/blankets for the ground, and clothing you can relax in. - your personal practice, journal, or just yourself. whatever helps you unwind and reconnect. *Please be on time* Music will begin at 7:30 and wrap by 9:30 – due to intimate size, please try to attend the full length so as not to disturb others' experience!
