Join us for a morning of sun, sea, and sisterhood as Women In The Water teams up with Buoy Water Club for a scenic paddle along our stunning coastline. This special event also proudly supports the Fish Reef Project, whose mission is to restore marine ecosystems and enhance biodiversity. At Buoy, they create ritual-inducing experiences that connect us to the water. Whether it's leaping into a swimming hole, catching a glassy morning paddle, or soaking in a hot spring, they believe in the power of water to physically and emotionally renew us. What to Expect: This special event features a one-hour guided paddle experience where Buoy Water Club provides everything you need—boards, paddles, life jackets, and waterproof phone cases (up to 8 people). Your adventure begins with a brief introduction and some expert paddle tips from Buoy Water Club’s experienced paddle leader. We’ll then embark on an engaging paddle towards Leadbetter Point, maintaining a comfortable pace for all participants. Along the way, keep an eye out for seals, dolphins, sea birds, and the majestic Giant Kelp. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or new to the water, this event is for you! Buoy Water Club will provide 8 SUPs for those who need them, but feel free to bring your own SUP, kayak, prone board, or canoe. WITW will provide up to 4 SUPs! Meet next to Buoy Water Club's lockers at Leadbetter Beach, next to Shoreline Cafe. What to Bring: 1) Swimsuit 2) Towel 3) Sunscreen 4) Hat 5) Water bottle / reusable cup 6) Snacks 7) Your own watercraft if you have one (limited SUPs available) 8) A sense of adventure! September's Official NGO Partner: The Fish Reef Project At the Fish Reef Project, their mission is to restore marine ecosystems, enhance biodiversity, and foster sustainable fisheries. Through innovative solutions such as biogenic Sea Cave® reefs, they are revitalizing barren sea floors into thriving underwater sanctuaries that attract an abundance of marine life. Let's celebrate the power of women, the joy of being on the water, and the importance of protecting our marine ecosystems. See you there! #WomenInTheWater #BuoyWaterClub #FishReefProject #PaddleAndConnect By participating in this event, you give WITW consent to photograph you to use for our marketing purposes.
