Come learn about the surveillance technology installed throughout the Morongo Basin, including Flock Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPRs). We'll teach ways you can get involved to stop this mass surveillance before it gets worse. We'll start at 1pm but you are welcome to arrive any time. After the opening icebreakers, we'll break off into smaller groups to focus on: - Surveillance 101 — what is this all about? - CPRA public records requests - Contacting your representatives - Having productive conversations with your neighbors This event is not affiliated with any government agency. This is a grass roots community effort organized by and for community. You may also email deflockyv@protonmail.com to RSVP if you don’t want to use Partiful.
