Art Is Keeping Us Alive opens Friday, May 22 at Not Shockboxx Gallery in Hermosa Beach.
OPEN DAILY 10ish to 7ish
Or by appointment
This exhibition brings together artists whose work feels urgent, vulnerable, loud, healing, chaotic, joyful, exhausted, hopeful, and deeply human. In a time where so much feels uncertain, art remains one of the few places where people can still process, connect, question, grieve, laugh, and survive together.
Rather than centering a traditional opening reception, we’re letting the work breathe. The exhibition will be open daily, inviting visitors to experience it on their own time and at their own pace. A closing reception and community gathering will be announced soon.
Featuring an incredible range of artists and perspectives, Art Is Keeping Us Alive is less about perfection and more about persistence — the act of continuing to create, feel, and show up for one another.
Gallery hours vary by day. Please visit notshockboxx.com for current hours and exhibition details.
