Complex, adoring, unassuming, cantankerous, wise, impulsive, feared, beloved, remembered: Grandmas come in all kinds. Although many of us know and love these mysterious matriarchs, rarely does our society encourage us to slow down and really listen to them. This new interview-based documentary theater piece brings Central Coast community members together to listen to true stories about the triumphs, losses, loves, and convictions of several grandmothers—inviting us all to consider how their insights might shape the way we see ourselves, and one another.
This will be an in-progress reading — no tickets are required, and admission will be free. We look forward to seeing you there!
