Vanessa Yxcea's fusion dance journey began in 2009 in the San Francisco Bay Area. She hosted fusion dances, classes, and festivals in Dallas, TX from 2017-2020. Her favorite qualities of fusion dancing are playfulness, expansion, and diversity of technique.
DJ Bae Bay will be bringing beats from the bay and beyond, she is a vibrant creative force with a passion for rhythm and an ear for eclectic sounds. She witch-crafts musical journeys, blending slow and sensual grooves with upbeat, bass-driven beats.
She is a lifelong dancer and the creative force behind Down 2 Dance. With over 20 years of experience as a fusion dancer, she brings a rich tapestry of partner dance and solo dances to her movement art. From soul-driven, funk fabulous, infectious hip hop, bassy sexy and sassy vibes to global sounds, each set allows a diversity of styles to explore on the dance floor and. Melt into the magic and get ready for a journey!

Rourke is a Berkeley based handpan player. Since 2020 Rourke has focused on producing handpan electronic music, live looping, and good ole acoustic meditations. He has performed at contact improv jams, ecstatic dances, yoga classes, elixir bars, renegades and festivals around Northern California. He is now offering 1:1 handpan lessons as well. Looking forward to holding sonic space at D2D!
