Only the planetarium show has a ticket cost (around $10 adults, less for kids/seniors/students), purchased same-day at the box office - no advance or online tickets. 🚗 PARKING: Paid parking is available right by the Observatory (metered/hourly). Free parking is available lower down the hill (near the Greek Theatre), with a walk/hike up. 🚊 PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The DASH Observatory/Los Feliz shuttle runs daily 10am-10pm from Vermont & Sunset - the easiest way up if you want to skip parking. Cost is 50 cents (35 cents with Tap). https://www.ladottransit.com/dash/obslf/ 🎒 BAGS: No formal bag-check on-site; keep bags reasonably sized for the galleries. 🐶 PETS: Leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds/outdoor areas, but not inside the building. Service animals are always welcome inside. 🍲 FOOD: Food and drinks aren't allowed inside, but the on-site Café at the End of the Universe has a terrace, and you're welcome to bring your own snacks/drinks to enjoy outside. ❌ DO NOT bring alcohol, smoke, or bikes/skateboards/scooters onto the grounds or into the building. 💻 WIFI: Feel free to work anywhere outside using their wi-fi 🔋 POWER: Please prepare properly (no guaranteed outlet access outdoors).
