In memory of Anthony, a beloved pillar of community, let’s gather to honor the joy, connection, and music he brought into our lives. Let’s share in the love we have for the life of a remarkable human, friend, partner, son, teacher, community organizer, and musician.

🎶 The Spirit of the Night 🎶
This gathering will primarily be a jam. We ask that eulogies be saved for the formal memorial (date TBA) to be held by Anthony's mom and Allison, Anthony's partner. We'll focus on creating the music and community Anthony loved so deeply and fostered over his life. There is an altar directly outside Starry Plough at La Pena where those who want to informally share words about Anthony can gather together away from the musical performances. We are working on getting a food truck to come by but note the Starry Plough kitchen will be closed during the event, with drinks available for purchase.

We will have a epic band kicking off the night from 9-10pm followed by glory jams afterwards until 1am, featuring:

Due to the nature of Anthony's passing, it has been picked up by the local news and may involve litigation. We anticipate local news to attend this event and wish to keep them outside the venue. Please respect the privacy of Anthony's family by not disclosing details about him, his private matters, or the investigation to local news. If you would like to share anything with them, keep it brief and positive such as his community leadership and musical efforts to enrich Oakland.
