Join us for a very intimate live model drawing session with Ramón Peñaloza and Evgenia Berestneva. You will be guided by Ramón through a series of exercises to unfold creative flow and enjoy freedom of expression, while Evgenia will be modeling live within her personal exhibition "Intimate Space".
Fee: 350 pesos / 20$ at the door.
No previous experience needed, materials provided.
The last direct disciple of maestro Gilberto Aceves Navarro, Ramón has built his practice over two decades where chance and surprise find form, even within realism. At La Buena Mancha, his downtown Mexico City studio, Ramón continues the master-disciple tradition through life drawing sessions, exhibitions, and gatherings.
He's a founding member of an art collective Quinto Piso, his work has appeared at Palacio de Bellas Artes Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Mexico, the Museum of Graphic Arts of Oaxaca, and SomoS Gallery in Berlin.
