The Main's First Annual Holiday Market

We're launching The Main's First Annual Holiday Market, and it's happening November 22–23 in Griffintown. Entry is free all weekend, and if you RSVP, you'll be entered to win a $250 gift card for a shopping spree at the event. Friday (Nov 21) kicks off with a VIP members-only reception. If you're a paid subscriber to The Main, you get early access, complimentary drinks, and first pick before doors open to the public. Saturday and Sunday (Nov 22 to 23) are open to everyone. Why are we doing this? Look, Montreal has holiday markets. Lots of them. But most fall into one of two camps: charming but exhausting, or corporate and forgettable. We wanted to split the difference with a market where every vendor has a real story to tell, and they've got items you'll want to keep. So we're taking over a 4,000-square-foot event space in Griffintown with 13-foot ceilings and street-level access. The full vendor lineup has launched: THE LINEUP 🛒 Cidre Intrus — Third-wave natural cider from Quebec City that treats apples like a winemaker would grapes. Quartz Co. — Premium Canadian outerwear made in Montreal that lasts decades, not seasons. DOVA PRYCE — Genderless jewelry handcrafted in Montreal. Chunky, sculptural pieces that feel punk and elegant at the same time. Dieu du Vin — Montreal natural wine importer sourcing unique bottles from 25+ countries. Biodynamic, organic, and always well-made wines with personality and stories worth hearing. Lopez — Plaza St Hubert’s premiere streetwear and skate shop. Carhartt WIP, Gramicci, Polar Skate Co, and their own in-house collection made locally. Malose — One-of-a-kind clothing made from upcycled fabrics. Playful, bold, and completely original. Ōra — Recovery-focused wellness products and treatments rooted in Polynesian tradition. Monoi oil made in French Polynesia, now in Montreal. Boring Friends — Graphic design and illustration turned into wearable art. Nature-inspired prints, community-focused ethos, all from one Montreal creative studio. Les Fermes Lufa — Celebrating 15 years of rooftop farming, sustainable innovation, and fresh, local food grown right here in the city. Slay O Zen — Playful, attitude-heavy streetwear and accessories with bold illustrations, dark-humour characters, and small-batch handmade details. Maison Carthia — High-quality, small-batch perfumes rooted in Mediterranean craft and modern artistry. La Compagnie Robinson — Heritage-inspired leather goods crafted to last a lifetime. The Dép — A curated shop of local goods made well—quality essentials, thoughtful production, fair pricing, and gifts you’ll actually use. Every purchase helps power independent storytelling in Montreal. ... There's music throughout the weekend: DJs Lou Roots Shtarek (Tarek Ghaleb), and Evan C will sonically accompany the browsing on Saturday, and Cece the Red will bring their own vibe to the market floor on Sunday. Dieu du Ciel! will also be there with cans to crush. Every vendor here is someone we'd vouch for. Every product belongs in your home—or someone else's, if you're already thinking ahead for the holidays. Which you should be. Presented by Lightspeed.
