[8/16] Allston-Brighton Brunch: Walking Food Tour (Allston/L.A.)

How well do you know your neighborhood across time and taste? Allston-Brighton has a long and rich history in supporting food access, including a key role in feeding the American Revolution 250 years ago. During this 6-part series, you will learn how this neighborhood has led the way in the past through food, where we are today, and get a sense of where we are going along with how to make a difference in shaping it.
This Sunday 11am - 1pm session will be an express ~40-60 minute walking tour from Union Square through Allston Village to Park Bagelry along Western Ave. We’ll start with a stop at Coffee Turco and finish at Park Bagelry, fully funded for shared food. **This is a one-way tour; we end about a 15-20 min walk from where we start**
If you want to buy drinks, additional food, or to top the food businesses we go to, you are of course welcome to!
After we conclude, pop over to Molly’s Bookstore right across the street!
It’s necessary that you RSVP so we have a head count and to know if any needs for allergies or otherwise, and if you change plans and cannot make it, please update your response so that others from the waitlist may take your spot.
