If you’re over the small talk and looking for deeper connections, this event is for you! What is it you ask? Authentic Relating Games are facilitated social interaction games that create a more humanistic connection through improv games and sharing of experiences. This group is open to cis, trans, bi, pan and non binary folks. Cost: $15 via Venmo is the suggested donation. Pay what you can - everyone is welcome and no one will be turned away., *** Important*** Please be on time - doors will close 15 minutes after 7 to allow us to create a safe and connected group. Time: * 6-7:15 Part 1 - Introductions and agreements * Break 7:15-7:30 - some snacks will be provided. * 7:30-8:30 Part 2 Location: The Uptown Office Suites above the Baton/Eagle. Front door code is 7678. A Little About Me: Authentic Relating came into my life in 2012 when I was really looking for ways to grow. I was an angry, closed off person who couldn’t understand why I wasn’t getting what I wanted life. In my first session of games I began to see why - I had every and all walls up to protect myself from ridicule and harm! Through this practice I was able find a safe place to be my true, vulnerable self and allow myself to be seen. Since then I’ve been to retreats, lead games and grown in so many ways.
