We figured that there is no better Thanksgiving topic than multigenerational trauma.
Wtf is it?
What is the science behind it?
What can we do about it?
Join us in person in the Marina, SF, to experience a night of profound conversation, music, tea, and healing.
My guest is Michael Gelbart, a seasoned Bay Area therapist and a deeply thoughtful and empathetic human being. Michael, or Mikhail as I like to call him, will start us off with the story of how his parents met in a bakery in the US after surviving the Jewish holocaust.
He will walk us through the motions of reconciling his parents past, into the present he currently lives, and into the future of his son. We'll dive into all these relationships in his life, how trauma can travel through narratives and genes, and lastly what the science is behind shifting these long standing wounds.
In other words..."it will be dope".
Plus you get to enjoy live, improvised music by Turkish Multi-instrumentalist and musical genius Volkan Eren.
And the best part of it all? Once we're done recording, we'll pour you some tea and give you the mic and ask you:
So what do you think?
Spots are limited to 10 tickets and 4 performers. Smash that RSVP button and grab your spot.
But why are you guys selling tickets? You may ask...The 10 tickets we sell make the production of this podcast a reality. By contributing to this event, you help us pay our audio and video team to bring that content to life and share it freely with the world.
Thank you for your support and time!
We are thrilled to do this with you.
