Howdy, folks! Our favorite time of the year is almost here, and we’re celebrating State Fair style with a meet up inspired by one of the most iconic Texas traditions. Howdy Folks is all about the sights, sounds, tastes, and memories of the State Fair of Texas. Think Big Tex welcoming you through the gates, Fletcher’s corny dogs, midway games glowing after dark, the Texas Star, blue ribbons, carnival tickets, concerts, livestock, fried everything, and all the wonderfully over-the-top details that make a day at the fair so memorable. We’ll be gathering at Food Nation Cocinas Food Hall for an evening of journaling, creativity, and celebrating everything we love about fair season. Whether you go every year, have a favorite fair food you refuse to leave without, head straight for the midway, or simply love the nostalgia of this Texas tradition, there are plenty of memories to inspire your pages. We’ll have themed scrap packs filled with State Fair-inspired ephemera, vintage carnival details, Texas touches, midway motifs, fair foods, tickets, ribbons, and thoughtfully curated embellishments designed to bring all the excitement of Fair Park into your journal. Grab something to eat, bring your favorite supplies, settle in with friends, and get ready to hear those famous words — “Howdy, folks!” It’s State Fair season, y’all!
