Asalam alikum! For Mother’s Day we are partnering with WisePlace, the only Orange County-based nonprofit women’s shelter leading the effort to end homelessness for unaccompanied individuals. They provide safe shelter, counseling and mental health services, case management and addiction recovery, and employment assistance to help rebuild lives. We will be putting together 35 care packages for them after the lecture on Monday, please RSVP if you’ll stick around and help. Let’s all work together to help the women in our community feel appreciated and cared for inshaAllah!
