With the September lease cycle approaching, a lot of people are looking for communal living situations. We're hosting a co-op mixer in Malden, the afternoon of Sunday, June 29th from 2-4 PM.
We will serve light food and non-alcoholic drinks, and have the space set up to facilitate connections! Most attendees are looking for housing in the Somerville/Malden/Medford area, but we'd love existing co-ops with openings to come and socialize too.
The venue is a private residence in Malden, with outdoor options up to 50 people (and rain date indoor options for 30). We are directly on several bus lines, a 15-20 minute walk from Malden Center station (Orange Line), and have convenient street parking.
The outdoors area is up a sloped driveway, partially in an enclosed garage, with the bathroom up a set of stairs. If we have to move indoors due to weather, it is up stairs onto a raised lot. Additionally, the indoors area is not wheelchair accessible due to narrow doors.
