*◟*[‼️UPDATE! We've pivoted the funeral to be a shrine, since there is so much interest, but the sidewalk is only so big. We're leaving materials outside on Thursday to write notes/leave momentos, and will send a text blast when we're all set up!]
New York is losing an icon on July 23rd, and it's our duty to celebrate Her.
🕊️Come celebrate the life of our beloved Soho REI. A beloved pee spot to many. An familiar landmark to all those embarking on the F train. Dare we say, the crown jewel of Broadway & Lafayette...?
Well, we hate to be the ones to break this news if you haven't heard, but our Queen Mother has finally been giving her resting date. While we don't know what the future holds for 309 Lafayette St, we know we'll gather outside her doorstep and give her the sendoff she deserves.

Bring flowers or relevant tributes.
Gather. Mourn. FEEL. Be in community.
The shrine will be open for the entire day. In all seriousness, this will be the last day for many workers at the store, so be respectful!
