Dear habibis & habibtis, As the dog days of summer melt into the sepia-tinged glow of autumn, the winds of change bring new beginnings and old friends. A sweet goodbye to a summer well spent; sunkissed afternoons and barefoot dances fade away like footsteps in the sand. But despair not, friends, for the seeds we've sown are about to bear fruit. Deep in its lair the liger stirs, shaking off its summer slumber and roaring awake. Soon it will throw open the door once more, welcoming in the throngs of revelers and carrying us deep into the night. Guiding us back in is none other than Just Emma. Head honchos of Underyourskin and Trippin Tigers, the Berlin-based duo have been leaving dancefloors smoldering around the world. Dark yet playful, captivating and melancholic: driving grooves, growly bass, chopped up melodies, fangs out. Masterful conductors of the afterhour, they come alive in those hazy, liminal moments when time bends and the night dissolves. They've been a constant source of inspiration for us over the years and we couldn't be happier to have them back in Portland.
