This month we’re reading The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. The Metamorphosis follows Gregor Samsa, a traveling salesman who has spent years working to pay off his family’s debts, and who wakes up one morning transformed into an insect. Underneath the surreal premise is a profound exploration of alienation, guilt, and family dynamics. Join in dissecting this classic 🖤 Flow for the afternoon: ∙ 4:00–4:30 — Arrival, getting settled, free flowing conversation ∙ 4:30–5:15 — Guided group discussion ∙ 5:15–6:00 — Open discussion, mingling, and free flowing conversation The book club is and will always be free. We’re offering a pay what you can option for anyone who feels moved to contribute. Every donation goes directly toward building more intentional gatherings for this community. We document these gatherings in photo and video, some of it becomes content. By attending, you’re okay with appearing in that work. If you’d rather stay out of frame, just tell us at the door.
