A very tired poetry show

The poet **Al Frankie** is very tired this year, but they won’t break tradition. Once again:
**THE SHOW MUST GO ON!**
Come gather with me for coffee, community, and poetry on *World Poetry Day* **Sat, Mar 21, 2026** from **12:00 PM – 3:30 PM** at **1175 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA 94103**.
This event is free and open to the public. Friends, family, your neighbors, +1s are encouraged.
**What to expect**
- ☕ **12:00 – 12:30 PM** → Coffee, tea, and pastries. Ease into the day, catch up with friends, and get cozy before the show.
- 🎤 **12:30 – 3:00 PM** → Poetry reading with intermission. Laugh, cry, process your emotions, and maybe even win prizes.
- 🫶 3:00 – 3:30 PM** → Hangout, hugs, and post-show mingling. Cleanup.
We’ll have multiple poetry performers.
If you would like to read a poem in honor of the birthday wench, please reach out and I’ll slot you on the set list.
*Masks are encouraged if you’ll be sitting close to others and have been recently sick. Flu season is wild this year, and we want everyone to stay healthy.*
