The Plan
Let’s gather for a fun late-night bite and catch a piece of Seattle history! Tonight, to celebrate the massive USA vs. Australia World Cup match hosted right here in the city, Visit Seattle is launching a first-of-its-kind 400-drone "Sky Scoreboard." We will watch a fleet of synchronized drones light up the night sky right next to the Space Needle, shifting into massive, illuminated country flags and projecting the final score of the match.
#### The Schedule:
* 9:15 PM – Dinner & Drinks: We’ll meet up first to grab a table, chat, and fuel up. (Keep an eye on the comments for the exact table location)
* 10:45 PM – Walk to the Lawn: We’ll head out together and walk over to the Seattle Center grounds. We are aiming for the lawn by the International Fountain for the absolute best, unobstructed view of the sky.
* 11:15 PM – The Drone Show: Look up! The aerial light show kicks off late at night against the Seattle skyline.
How to Find Us:
We will post our exact spot inside the restaurant in the comment section below by 8:55 PM. If you are skipping dinner and just joining the drone show, meet us by the International Fountain at 11 PM.
# What to Bring:
* A warm jacket or sweater (it gets chilly on the lawn at night!).
* A blanket to lie down watching the show while standing is sometimes hard. Feel free to bring a camping chair.
* Your phone or camera for some incredible skyline photos.
* Good vibes!
* Feel free to pass it to anyone who you would want to bring along. The more the merrier.
