We are gathering together to celebrate the centenary of the great Ivan Illich: the radical priest, the prophet of Cuernavaca, the deschooler, the booster of convivial tools, the denouncer of disabling professions, the performer of "little acts of foolish renunciation," and celebrant of friendship.
