On October 24, we’re taking an autumn walk through Central Park, exploring some of the park’s most beautiful fall spots, iconic bridges, scenic paths, and colorful foliage. Join us for a relaxed afternoon stroll through the park, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and finish together at the Conservatory Garden.
📍 Meetup: Columbus Circle / 59th Street Entrance at 2:00 PM, by the M5 Bus Stop. We’ll spend 30 minutes mingling before beginning the walk at 2:30 PM.
Along the way, we’ll visit some of Central Park’s most scenic spots:
• The Pond & Gapstow Bridge - an iconic Central Park view surrounded by fall foliage, with beautiful reflections and photo opportunities.
• The Mall & Literary Walk - a scenic promenade lined with towering elm trees and a beautiful autumn canopy.
• Bethesda Terrace & Fountain + Bow Bridge - one of the park’s most iconic areas, with stunning architecture, views, and fall scenery. We’ll pause here for about 10 minutes.
• Cedar Hill - a peaceful hill surrounded by colorful trees and a quieter stretch of the park.
• Turtle Pond - a scenic spot with views of the surrounding foliage and reflections on the water. We’ll pause here for about 5 minutes.
• Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir - a scenic stretch with panoramic water views surrounded by autumn colors.
• North Meadow - an open area surrounded by trees, where we’ll stop for a group photo. We’ll pause here for about 5 minutes.
• Conservatory Garden - a beautiful six-acre formal garden in the northeast corner of the park and the final stop of our walk. Feel free to stay and enjoy the garden before heading home.
