Join us for readings by four essayists from the Replacement Character Book (David Reinfurt, Rex Shannon, Maya Man, and Ruby Justice Thelot), followed by a special performance-lecture by Luke Shannon, to be performed on his running plotter-scanner. This event will add context and insight to the project, giving voice to the ideas shared in the Replacement Character book (available at Heft and online). We also invite the lecture audience to stay to discuss the work and celebrate the project over an informal pizza dinner in the gallery, following Shannon's performance. Lecture starts at 7pm. Beer, bubbles, and seltzer will be provided : )
