This event is all about celebrating community, culture and joy to support education for young students in the Philippines.
Lola’s, a pop-up bakery rooted in community and culture, is partnering with Sari Sari Studio and Freaks of Nature to host a community run in Frogtown near the LA River.
We’re raising funds for the Helena Eugenio Westrate Foundation, which distributes school supplies and learning resources to students across 25 barangays in Santa Ignacia, Philippines. We do this in honor of Helena, a beloved lola, mother, nurse, runner, baker, and proud Filipina.

🏃🏽♀️Choose your adventure:
• 9:00am: Doors Open
• 9:30am: 5k, 10K run or walk with pacing groups
• 9:30am: Yoga for non-runners — bring your own mat!
• 10:00am: Market at the finish line w/ coffee, food, DJs, shopping, and good times — OPEN TO PUBLIC
• Freaks of Nature goodies (for run participants only)
