✨ NEW LOCATION ✨ Until renovations are complete at Burton Barr Library, we will continue to meet at the Galvanize Coworking space just south of Downtown Phoenix (515 E. Grant St.). Or, attend virtually! Join us for our monthly all-hands volunteer meeting! We meet the first Tuesday of every month, 5:30-6:30pm. The meeting agenda will focus on defense of the light rail and potential backsliding by the City of Phoenix on the Light Rail Capitol Extension. Our agenda will include a presentation on the background and context behind past light rail decisions and where things stand today, all to prep for the Phoenix City Council's consideration of the issue at their January 27th meeting. The closest light rail stations are 3rd St (A Line) or Lincoln (B Line) or hop on the "0" bus that runs up and down Central. It is also easily bikeable from Central Phoenix; we recommend using 3rd Avenue (for north-south) and Grant Street (east-west).
