*TAKE 2!* Our park collage hang got rained out in June (an annoyingly small amount of rain, but enough to make cutting and pasting outside a bad time). We're trying again this month! Come hang out and cut up some fashion mags with us! Bonus: it's also the day before my birthday, so if you feel like celebrating a little early with me, I would love to see you! Location: Laurelhurst Park! Specific picnic area location will be posted closer to the event . Materials provided: We’ll have scissors, glue sticks, and plenty of fashion-y ephemera to share. Feel free to bring your junk journal, sketchbook, or whatever else you want to glue your collage spreads on. Cost: This is a pay-what-you-can event. We’ll have a virtual tip jar going for anyone who wants to throw some coins in for material costs. Tips appreciated but not required to attend! What is Rose City Fashion Drawing?: RCFD is a monthly drawing club where fashion meets art. Our goal is to bridge the gap between Portland’s art and fashion communities through beginner friendly creative hangouts.
