Let's read some indie and self-published books, with thoughts from the authors!
The People's Letters first book club will be taking place on Saturday April 18th, and we'll be reading/discussing Hooker Mentality by Jack Parker.
What happens at the book club?
Shortly after you purchase a ticket (£5 without a physical book and £11.99 to also get a paperback copy) you'll be sent an e-book version of Hooker Mentality to read or peruse in advance. You do not have to have read the book to come along, but having started it is encouraged!
We will have:
An introductory discussion about the themes and defining terms.
Prepared questions to prompt chats with other readers about their views.
Out-of-context quotes to consider.
Low-pressure activities like worksheets for those who want to sit and read and listen!
