In honor of Black History Month, come celebrate culture, rhythm, and Hermandad with Legacy Women—co-founded by our very own Hermana and Nu Chapter founder Manuela Arcinegas!
Legacy Women brings the drums, the movement, and the spirit through Afro-Dominican Palos, Congos, and Salves and Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba—music and dance deeply rooted in ancestral tradition, resistance, joy, and community.
This isn’t a performance—it’s a Drum Jam! Come feel the rhythm, move your body, and be in joyful community as we honor the fiery, nurturing, defiant, and wise spirit of mujeres.
✨ $10 to attend (Venmo) — this secures your seat, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Legacy Women to support their incredible, community-centered work.
Kindly note that this event is open to the public. Please RSVP by 2/15
Questions or no Venmo? Reach out to Joanne at 347-471-8058.
