LAVANDA is a queer salon that challenges what we think we know about each other.
You don't need to be an expert. You don't need to have the right words. You just need to show up, listen, and approach with curiosity.
Edition 01 centers a conversation the queer community needs to be having: sex work, survival, and what sisterhood actually requires of us. The evening is structured as three rounds of small group discussion, from intros, to lived proximity, to solidarity.
A portion of bar sales and all donations will go directly to GLITS, GAYS AND LESBIANS LIVING IN TRANSGENDER SOCIETY.
GLITS is a grassroots non-profit organization based in New York, founded by Black trans activist Ceyenne Doroshow. It focuses on health, housing justice, crisis support, and advocacy for transgender and LGBTQIA+ individuals globally.
Disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave.
