Everything Dance- Studio Grand Opening
Cohosts Kaitie Richman and Barbara (DJ/Producer) bring forward a beautiful and inspiring day to draw out the myth in your dance.
This is a FREE dance intensive with three back to back 90 min classes. It’s being held at a BRAND NEW STUDIO and YOU ARE INVITED to join us in breaking it in. You are encouraged to take all the classes to get the full effect. There will be breakout workshop sessions available and you can choose your own adventure to get the most out of the day.
Here’s how it works:
Each class is led by a dance legend and infused with a personal reflection to spend time digging into your personal myth and helping you think about telling your story through dance. The class will end with filming the brilliant class choreo.

3:30 pm
Intensive I - Steph Mizrahi - Contemporary
Breakout workshop I - Storytelling. Tell your story as a myth. Barbara will workshop the telling of your story around the legend of you and help connect that to your personal story of dance.
5:00 pm
Intensive II - Almand Martin Jr. - Jazz Funk
Breakout Workshop II - Liberation. Barbara will workshop being free, visible, empowered on a personal level that will be felt in our movement of dance.
6:30 pm
Intensive III - Destiny Richardson- Heels
Breakout Workshop III - Want. Barbara will workshop our personal hierarchy of want and how to live from the highest level of that pyramid of want. Dancing our way to our live’s greatest wants.
8:00 pm Everything Dance - The experience will end with a two hour immersive dance floor experience. Barbara will DJ a custom set drawing on different sounds and styles of house music/dance music. You can request a song and have a short vignette worked into the DJ set ahead of time. Please reach out to Kaitie and Barbara if you are interested.
Logistics: Street parking is available. Bring water. Pizza and snack will be provided. Mixers and basic booze for Everything Dance. You are encouraged to bring your favorite sips. BYOB for 8pm Everything Dance
