Mental Health Songwriter Nights is a mental health themed songwriter’s event series benefiting mental health organizations and local artists. Based out of Nashville, we are taking our series on the road- bringing a show to Evansville, Indiana for the first time on July 17th at The Commons!
This show will benefit Benchmark Family Services (Therapeutic Foster Care) through a portion of our proceeds. By recruiting and training a network of professional, therapeutic foster care homes in Indiana and Kentucky, they are able to offer their contracting agencies a variety of beds available for the youth they serve at a moment’s notice. They support homes with on-going training, 24/7 on-call availability, financial reimbursement, and professional support staff. Their program staff manages the cases assigned to their agency by providing weekly contacts and visits to the home and youth in care. They also coordinate therapy and psychiatric services for the youth in our care. (See link for more info!)
