Join us on September 22nd to celebrate the Autumn Equinox. 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. Provincelands. We will start at the lot on the same side as Hatches Harbor, but closer to the Visitor’s Center. Bring a small pack or basket with a knife, notebook/pen, and a mug. On the fall equinox, day and night are in balance. We’ll gather on the 22nd to honor the harmony of the seasons, the abundance of summer’s harvest and to share our wishes for the coming fall season. We will meet near the Provincelands and forage as we walk to a site where we will co-create an equinox tea ceremony. We will make a tea with summer’s blossoms and berries and freshly-dug fall roots honoring both seasons. This equinox ceremony is hosted by Sarah Naciri of Wild Blossoms Apothecary, Nicole Cormier of Delicious Living, and Jaye Johnson of CommonsKeepers. All are welcome.
