Come join us for an afternoon of Swing Dancing fun at The Gantries! Don't forget to put on your dancing shoes.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, everyone is welcomed to dance.
🌇Dance until sunset against the beautiful NYC backdrop along the East River.
🎊Come solo or bring your friends. No partner required!

Beginner lesson 4-5pm
Dance floor DJ Music 5pm - sunset.
📍How can I find you?
We'll be in the main Plaza area. Right by the two large metal Gantries. Around the corner from the library.
🚾Are there restrooms nearby?
Yes there are public restrooms and water fountains nearby and inside the Hunter Point Public Libary.
🤝Do I have to come with a partner?
No. Welcome to the world of Social Dance. Respectfully ask someone nearby for a dance and enjoy. Feel free to refuse a dance too if you don't feel like it.
💸How much does it cost?
This is FREE event. Suggested Donation of $15 is welcomed to help with future events. Thank You
🌲Will there be a dance floor?
The floor under the Gantries are wood, akin to a pier like surface. The plaza area will be concrete. Plenty of space for 50+ dancers!
