Come and watch a classic piece of Yiddish film: Hester Street.  Based on the novel "Yekl: A Tale of the New York Ghetto", this touching story about immigrating to America at the turn of the 20th century is a must watch!  This film features a mix of English and Yiddish.

There will be subtitles and there will be snacks.  Anything else is up to you.

P. S. There is a tiny dog who lives in this house who may/may not want to watch/snuggle with us (but can go to another room if needed)
