Book besties, we’re starting with a book that feels like the perfect place to begin 🤎📚✨ For our very first gathering, we’ll be reading The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz — a thought-provoking guide to love, self-worth, healing, and the relationships we create with ourselves and others. This book blends self-help, personal growth, philosophy, and spiritual nonfiction. It explores how fear, expectations, insecurity, and the desire for love from others can shape our relationships, while encouraging us to look inward and learn how to love ourselves first. ✨ Why start here? Because before we dive into stories about other people, I wanted our first book to be about us. The Mastery of Love invites us to reflect on the way we love, the things we’ve been taught to believe about love, the relationships we have with others, and perhaps most importantly the relationship we have with ourselves. I chose this book as our starting point because I want Entre Libros y Chisme to be more than just reading a book. I want it to be a space where we can connect, have honest conversations, laugh, reflect, and maybe even leave each gathering seeing something in ourselves a little differently.
