Atlanta became the "Center of the Universe" because of the soul, sound, and spirit we cultivated in the 1990s. From the basement tapes of the Dungeon Family to the global stages of the '96 Games, our culture has always been our greatest asset. However, as our city grows, we must ensure our history isn't paved over. We are at a crossroads where development must meet preservation. I am inviting you to a vital conversation with Atlanta Mayor’s Office Chief of Staff, Courtney English’s at an informational roundtable. We will discuss how we can protect our cultural landmarks, support our legacy creatives, and ensure that the "Black Mecca" remains a reality for generations to come. Now, Atlanta music, gaming and film industries rely on a workforce that is largely freelance, mobile and community based. As development accelerates in the city, it is important that entertainment industry leaders understand how housing and reinvestment policy intersects with talent, labor access and long-term industry growth. Questions & Appetizers. Sponsored by First Horizon Bank & Hosted by Save Black Atlanta
