Tech Week is here!! Which means a full week of non-stop panels, pitches, and hackathons, oh my! But amidst the marathon, you're gonna need to take a break and PLAY. Here’s a way to touch some grass between panels. On Tuesday during Tech Week, the Recess bell will ring in Union Square Park at 3PM, 4PM, and 5PM (Yes, literally. We have an actual bell). Show up for classic Recess games: 4-square, kickball, crafts, field day challenges, and whatever inspiration strikes! THE GAME PLAN: 1. Show up, touch grass, lose track of time, remember your favorite activities from childhood 2. We'll ring the Recess bell each hour so you know when time is up! 3. Connect with a new friend over a favorite childhood activity (who knows - could turn into a future investor or job or any of those other fun things we won't speak about at Recess) THE RULES: 1. We don't talk about tech/AI (we’re cosplaying the 90’s here, so AIM acronyms are the only tech talk that make sense) 2. We don't talk about what we do for work (no companies, no titles, no funding numbers. We're kids, remember!?) 3. Phones stay in pockets (no photos, no scrolling!)
