Come experience the magic of dance at an event that celebrates queer joy, expression, rhythm, laughter, and new connections! Whether you're a seasoned dancer or have never tried salsa before, we welcome you exactly as you are!
This event is for everyone and runs on a mindset of community and mutual support! Because dance (especially social dance) should always be a joyful experience and interaction! And because we should all have a welcoming dance space that makes us feel safe and comfortable enough to explore dance no matter how we choose to practice it or express ourselves!
About the Picnic- We invite attendees to bring:
Their Vibrantly Colorful Selves
A dish or drink to share with 4-6 people
Their own picnic blanket or portable chair
Reusable plates, cups, and utensils if possible (we'll have some extras)
About the Donation-based class:
Suggested donation of $10 (please contribute what feels comfortable).
NO Partner or Experience Necessary
We will cover basic steps, turns, and simple combinations
Focus on fun and connection rather than technical perfection
We encourage you to explore whichever role feels right - lead or follow.
