AGI Tabletop Exercises

ᵔ▿ᵔWe will be running multiple TTXs (Tabletop Exercises), developed by Redwood Research! This exercise is frequently run with politicians and AI lab employees. In the exercise, players will assume roles, like the CEO of an AI lab, or even the AI itself. We'll simulate the development of AGI and ASI, with a particular emphasis on recursive self improvement, internal lab dynamics and external geopolitical pressures. The hope is that this exercise will help you viscerally understand the ways things might go well or badly in the intelligence explosion. And it should also be fun!
We will be in the MAIA office (245 Main Street). There will be snacks and Boba :)
RSVP on this partiful is required, and you must have done AISF previously in order to participate. Summer cohort is totally fine! This is not to exclude anyone; the TTX just goes better when people have higher AI Safety context. Excited to see you all there!
