My My Miss American Pie is bringing all the charm of a picture-perfect summer afternoon. Inspired by gingham blankets, vintage toile prints, homemade pie recipes, twinkling stars, county fair nostalgia, and timeless Americana style, this theme celebrates the cozy, classic details that never go out of fashion. Think cherries and wildflowers, blue-and-white patterns, picnic baskets, handwritten recipe cards, eyelet lace, and all the little touches that feel like summer memories in the making. We'll be gathering for our monthly Mega Meet Up at the North Richland Hills Library, where journalers from all across DFW will come together for an afternoon filled with creativity, inspiration, and community. Whether you're drawn to vintage aesthetics, cottage-inspired details, or simply love a theme that feels warm and nostalgic, this month's Mega is sure to be a favorite. This special Mega Meet Up will include three custom-designed background papers created by DFW JJC, two exclusive DFW JJC vinyl stickers, early access registration for August events before they open to the public, games, prizes, giveaways, and a few extra surprises throughout the afternoon. We'll also have themed scrap packs filled with classic patterns, charming ephemera, and thoughtfully curated details designed to capture the spirit of the theme. Grab your journal and settle in for an afternoon of creating alongside fellow journalers from across DFW. It's sweet, timeless, and just a little nostalgic. Just like a slice of American pie.
