As-Salaamu Alaikum and Ramadan Mubarak.
As Ramadan enters its final days, the San Francisco Muslim Community Center invites the believers and the wider Bay Area Muslim family to come together in observance of Laylat al-Qadr.
The Qur’an teaches that this is a night greater than a thousand months. No one can say with certainty which night it is. The community that grew from the leadership and guidance of Imam Warith Deen Mohammed has long observed the 27th night of Ramadan with deep devotion and reflection. We continue that tradition here in San Francisco.
Laylat al-Qadr Community Gathering
Monday, March 16
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
📍 African American Art & Culture Complex
The evening will include:
• Community Iftar at sunset
• Salat al-Maghrib
• Salat al-‘Isha
• Tarawih prayer
We welcome Muslims from across San Francisco and the Bay Area to share this sacred time in prayer, reflection, and fellowship during the closing nights of Ramadan.
May Allah accept our fasting, forgive our shortcomings, and guide us in the days ahead.
