La Montaña Manatí invites you to join us in celebrating the land by supporting our first “FunRaiser” to continue evolving this community healing space.
La Montaña is a sober-focused, 15 acre permaculture-based farm and community center that is currently under transformation after being abandoned for a decade. We are excited to show you all of our progress and have you be apart of the magic that is yet to unfold here. In honor of the Elemental Forces lets:
Make Offerings to Earth
Play in Water
Pray by the Fire
Dance with the Wind
Receive Sound Healing and Connect with Spirit
The event includes...
- Pool Party
- Farm Tour
- Sound Healing
- Dance
- Vegan Snacks & Soup
- Alcohol Free Elixirs
Doors open at 3pm to come and enjoy the pool and the land.
*Farm tour: 5:30-6:30pm
*Sound bath: 7pm
*Dance party: 8-10pm
This FunRaiser is to support the following projects:
- Repairing our damaged roof
- Building a rainwater catchment system to provide our community with water security
Please donate what feels good to you, anything from $1- infinity. If you can’t donate monetarily, you can bring a vegan dish/ N/A bev, or you are welcome to consider volunteering on the land with us.
Bring with you:
- A yoga mat and pillow for sound healing
- A bathing suit if you wanna jump in the pool
- Dance and flow toys
- Clothes to dance in
- Instruments
Important things to note:
-La Montaña is a sober site
-No dogs allowed, even service dogs. (our farm pup, Strawberry, is not dog friendly, sorry)
-Please please carpool! (A parking lot is in our future but right now space is limited)
-We live on a limited water supply (hense the rain catchment soon coming) so please be mindful of water usage while here.
