The 14th East Coast Filipino Martial Arts Gathering (ECFG 14) is a community-driven convergence of practitioners, instructors, and enthusiasts dedicated to the shared study and preservation of Filipino Martial Arts and the rich culture that it comes from!
ECFG 14 brings together instructors from across regions and systems to openly share training methods, principles, and applications in a neutral, respectful environment. The focus is not only technical development, but also strengthening the broader martial arts community through camaraderie, exchange, and mutual respect across lineages and styles.
Participants will have opportunities to train directly under visiting instructors, explore diverse interpretations of stick, blade, and empty-hand methods, and pressure-test material through controlled sparring and live application scenarios. The gathering is designed to bridge theory and application allowing practitioners to validate techniques under real timing, distance, and resistance.
Beyond training, ECFG 14 emphasizes connection. It serves as a networking space for martial artists, coaches, and supporters to build relationships, share experiences, and support the continued growth of Filipino martial arts culture and its many expressions, including Arnis, Eskrima, and Kali.
This is a gathering built for growth technical, cultural, and community-wide where practitioners come to sharpen skill, exchange knowledge, and leave with stronger connections than they arrived with.
